PRACTICAL PIGEON MANAGEMENT by W. Fellowes 1901, original hard bound, 136 pages, b/w illustrations, 5.5 by 8.25 inches. Fellowes wrote a series of six "Practical Handbooks", these were soft covered pamphlets for the Feathered World. These were reissued in this bound book. THE REARING of TURBIT PIGEONS with the Aid of Foster-Parents by H.P. Scatliff. 1925, soft cover, 30 pages text with ads in the back. b/w photos, 8.5 by 5.5 inches, the condition is exceptional. There is a faint crease at one corner throughout the book and an owner signature at the top of the Contents page. Otherwise it is flawless. These softbound monograph (single-breed) books were all very limited edition and very few have survived, making them particularly sought-after by serious collectors and those interested in that particular breed.
